Versatile traffic control is provided by 4510 Series Deadlatches. Retain the bolt with a reverse key turn while it's held retracted, enabling two-way traffic in facilities like hospitals and banks. These deadlatches are interchangeable with certain MS deadbolts, feature a steel lock case with corrosion-resistant plating, and are available in four cylinder backsets. The all-metal latch bolt has hardened steel pins, and handing is reversible without tools. An auxiliary bolt prevents unauthorized entry. The standard strike is suitable for flat jambs, and additional strikes are available. Retract the latch bolt using the key or handle, and secure it by pushing it in and turning the key in reverse. This lock is compatible with standard mortise cylinders and comes with a strike and machine screws for mounting. Additional cylinders, paddles, or handles are available at an extra cost.
